Biotech/Pharmaceuticals Update 05/18/16

Merck(MRK):

-       Merck has stayed relatively steady this week, no significant changes in its stock.

-       The stock is slightly up, but not significant enough to warrant justification.

Teva(TEVA):

-       Similarly TEVA is slightly up, no significant news.

-       TEVA is continuing their attempt to acquire Allergan generics, there are minor regulatory changes but they don’t appear to be having any significant volatile effects on the stock

Gilead(GILD)

-       Gilead’s stock has also not been changing too much over the last week

-       They closed the acquisition of Nimbus Apollo

-       Didn’t really make that much of a difference

IHF

-       Not really much change over the last week, biopharma companies have stayed pretty consistent.
